    Dubbed by the local media as the prodigy of Vietnamese modern musical theatre, whose sold-out shows single-handedly revived the interest in serious performing arts in Hanoi for a many-year period, Phi Phi Anh took a left turn in career and began his new journey with storytelling by becoming first CEO and showrunner of Vintata in early 2017. A true-blue Hanoian but educated in Singapore and the U.S., he likes odd stories that mimic the oddness and diversity of real life while celebrating the universality of being human.


    Head of 2D animation Department

    With over 20 years of experience working on some of the most famous French animated series and movies including Oggy and the Cockroaches, Go West! A Lucky Luke Adventure, Zig & Sharko, Zack & Marcel and Rolling with the Ronks!, Nguyen Thanh Hung is probably one of the most gifted animators you can find in Vietnam today. A Southerner born and raised in bustling Ho Chi Minh City, Hung is a child at heart and a loving father of two kids who keep him on his toes.


    Head of 2D animation Department

    Long is an artist of 8x generation in Ha Noi, known for his talent and versatility. Through 10 years of experience, his works cover a wide variety of fields: architectural design and consulting, graphic design (for 2! Magazine/ Vietnamese Students Newspaper), illustrations (for Emobi games/Hiker games). He eventually joined VinTaTa and became Layout artist, then Lead of 2D Design. A seasoned artist with humble and open-minded attitude, Long is now the leader of more than 20 talented and enthusiastic 2D concept artists.  


    Head of 3D Animation Department

    Manuel Aparicio is the Co-Director and Animation Director here at Vintata Animation Studio. Manuel has been in the animation industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining the team in Vietnam, Manuel was the Animation Director at Huhus Animation Studio on the film Mosley. Before directing Manuel was also an animator on the films Moana, Zootopia, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Kung Fu Panda 1, 2 & 3, Shrek 4, Madagascar 2 to name a few at both Disney Feature Animation and DreamWorks Feature Animation.


    Head of 3D Design Department

    Nol Le Meyer started his career in Animation in 1995 as a 2D Layout Department Trainee on Dreamworks Animation’s first feature film, 24 years later Nol has returned to his birthplace to join VinTaTa Animation studios and help them create world class animation films.  


    Pipeline Specialist

    After completing a master's degree in computer graphics in Italy, Andrea began his career in a local animation studio. The passion for his work took him to collaborate with Ilion Animation Studio for the animation project produced by Paramount Animation: Wonder Park. After two years in Madrid, his career continued in Canada: first in Montreal working for Cinesite and then Vanconity to work for Sony Picture Animation for the animated film Small Foot.


    Lead of Lighting and Render

    Ben Xie has been working as backend artist for 10 years and worked as Lead of Lighting and Compositing for more than 6 years. He is skilled in team management, technical troubleshooting and artistic exploration, and has participation in leading positions in movies like: Duck Duck Goose, Wandering Earth, Journey to the West, as well as Dumble, Gantz:O, Final Fantasy XV, etc.  


    Production Specialist

    Passionate about CGI, Costantino has been working in the industry since 2007. During these years he has worked with Italian, American and Canadian companies as employee and freelance. He was a speaker at the View Conference and Effects Montréal and has shown interested in every aspect of CG productions with focus on rigging and tool building.


    Art and Design Specialist

    Courtney Page is a Visual Development Artist and Character Designer from Auckland, New Zealand. She has worked as an artist in animation for clients and studios all over the globe for the past 4 years. Now she is thrilled to be part of the team and exciting projects being produced at Vintata.


    Production Specialist

    Oleg has 35 years of experience in research and development in the animation industry. He has participated in a variety of fields such as: games, mobile app and 3D-tool creation, as well as animation films. He has worked for several companies including Original Force, Vito Technology, AcademSoft, SoftLab-NSK, etc. before coming to Vietnam to join VinTaTa.


    Head of 3D Production / Visual Effects Supervisor

    Louis Flores, a graduate of the ArtCenter College of Design in California, US, is a Visual Effects Supervisor with over 25 years of visual effects experience for major motion picture films, commercial work, feature animation, motion based rides and video games. He has worked on such films as Mission to Mars, Unbreakable, The Princess Diaries, Reign of Fire, Treasure Planet,Shark Tale, Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs Aliens, How to Train Your Dragon, The Croods,Penguins of Madagascar and Trolls.
